The Mestre d'Aixa was born to a family descendants of fishermen and fishmongers in 1989 (year when our daughter Olga was born, currently she and her husband Rodri, are the ones who run it) ancient workshop of a Mestre d'Aixa (Jaume villa 1762 ) We will start with a wood-fired oven of handmade pizzas, pasta and bar, (typical of that time) during the years we introduced the kitchen of our parents and grandparents studying in cooking schools to improve.
Today we continue with the wood oven, which is a benchmark for us to make our hand held pizzas!
And the fresh artisan pasta!
We also continue with the Catalan and Tossense cuisine recognized by gourmets and local people, also making highly successful signature dishes, they are in Tossense collective of traditional Tossense cuisine for not lose our roots!
Our daughter is the second generation with more than 30 years of experience at Mestre d'Aixa and she makes it a family restaurant open all year round, for you to enjoy.
